Chapter Sixteen (Trouble again)

“Sir, you are back already?” Carvin asked and help me with my coat.
“Yes”
“So how did it go?”
“Just as planned, Dave is dancing to my tune, just the way I want it” I smirked wickedly.
“So what do you have for me?” I asked after sitting on my chair.
“Sir, I think I know who the spy is? I should have known, I don’t believe I got deceived” he rant.
“They must have took me for a fool” He added while I chuckled.
“You are a fool, don’t you know?” I said and he kept shut.
“What do you have to say?”
“Like I said earlier, I know who the spy is? The other man on the mission to kill Elena Walker, Douglas”
“Why did you think it is him?”
“He hasn’t been here since the day of the incident.”
“Am sure he is working for Klaus”
“So, what have you done about it?”
“What do you mean sir?” He asked stupidly.
“I want you to track Douglas down, find where he is. Am sure he knows where the traitor is or they stay together.”
“Find them and bring them to me” I ordered.
“Finally, everything is about to end. In no time, I will get what belongs to me”
Elena pov 
“A kiss or a night together” he asked running his hand through my body, I could feel this shock, I can’t explain it. Like my body is on fire when he touch my skin, he raised my jaw up and my eye felt on his lips.
I actually want to kiss his lips, what is going on with me?.
“Don’t be scared, all you have to do is make a choice then I let you go”
“It is your choice to make, and whatever the decision is….” He stopped looking at my lips, our face closer, and his breath on mine.
“Whatever it is, remember I will always benefit for it” he said and move away from me.
“I will leave you to think” he said and went to the door, opened it and left
What was that? My choice? If I make a choice will he really let me go?
No, what exactly do I want?
A kiss or a night together.
Totally not a night together, but still my body….
I just can’t explain the feeling, it feels good, sweet, I totally love the way he looked at my lips like he is dying to kiss it and when he touch my body, it feels good, like am in heaven.
A choice? What will my choice be?
Few days later
It been few days now since Klaus have left me in a bad situation.
Since that day, all I could think is me and Klaus kissing or having a thing together.
Sometimes, I even dream of me and Klaus kissing which leads to the two of us in a bed, naked.
Am going crazy, no am probably crazy. I don’t even know this guy that well, at least I know he is dangerous.
And also I have been in pains since that day, Klaus hardly talk to me or look at me.
He seems to be avoiding me, how could he asked such question and start avoiding me.
Who does that? The bastard does. I wish I could hate him.
And the worst part is that he doesn’t allow Douglas to talk to me also, he is such a pain the a$$.
“Good morning guys” I greeted hoping for a change but got no reply.
Douglas wanted to reply but Klaus shut him down.
I sighed and went to the kitchen for a glass of water.
I went back to living room, “make sure you made perfect, we can’t leave any trace” Klaus said to Douglas.
“What are you guys talking about?” I asked curious.
But as usual I got no response, “we should get going” Klaus stood up and Douglas followed.
I blocked Klaus before he could reach the door, Douglas left us after observing the situation.
“I will be outside” he said and left.
“Am going out” Klaus sighed. “I know”
“Ok, whatever you want to say. Make it fast” he mumbled.
“Why are you ignoring me? Did I do anything wrong? You can’t just say something like that and start acting cold to me” I said almost like a shout
“Am not avoiding you, am just doing what is best for you so you can go back home after all that is what you want” he reply and left me.
“What? Is that what he’s really doing? But still I hate the way he acts to me? Especially when my feelings for him are”
“Gosh, I hate this” I cried.
“I hate what am feeling for him, I hate ever knowing him”
“Whatever, I also don’t care” I grunt and went to my room.
I laid on my bed when I suddenly heard the door to the living room opened.
‘Is Klaus back? That was fast’ I thought and stood up from my bed.
“Klaus” I called when I got to the living room but got no reply.
“Klaus” I called again.
“So you are the one behind the reason almighty Klaus got weak” I heard a thick voice behind me.
My body shivers in fear, I want to turned back to see the person but got knocked down.
Take her to the car was the last thing I heard before my sight become dark.
