EPISODE 9

✧ AM I…ATTRACTIVE?✧

Jason gave peninah a hard glare while she only grins back innocently at him.

“But what are you guys doing here? I don't think you work here also?” Rowan opted while Mag stepped in quickly.

“Oh he's my_”

“I'm her nephew” Jason answered quickly before Mag could.

“Nephew? I didn't know you had such an handsome nephew?” Rowan gave Mag a questionable look.

“But who are you? And why are you in her dressing room?” Jason questioned back with a frown.

“Oh my manners. I'm Rowan Huxley the CEO of Star entertainment” Rowan offers a handshake which Jason took immediately.

“Oh I'm Jason West pleasure meeting you Mr Rowan ”

“Likewise”

“Um…he came to give me my scaff” Mag said again.

“Scaff? That's strange why would he?”

“It's nothing strange Mr Rowan. Mag actually attended a family dinner we had recently and had forgotten her scaff. So I had to bring it back for her”

“Yeah it's my favorite so I asked him to bring it for me” Mag chipped in.

“Really? Then…what about her? Is she your family too?” Rowan quizzed referring to Peninah.

“Her…she's_”

“She's my girlfriend” Jason announced cutting Mag cut. He slipped his hands around Penny's waist pulling her closer to him.

“Your girlfriend?” Rowan asked while Mag also looks at him in surprise.

“Yeah…is there a problem with that?” Jason opted while peninah looks at him.

“Young man am I your girlfriend?” She opted also while Jason face her.

“You just shut it…I don't need you to say anything” Jason whispers to her.

“Meet wei_ no peninah my girlfriend…though it seems you guys ain't strangers” Jason introduced.

“Wow…I finally got your name beautiful lady…It's a beautiful name. Actually I was thinking of taking my shot the next time we meet but seems I can't…you've got a really handsome boyfriend” Rowan smiles at her.

“Actually…I didn't knew I had a boyfriend until now.” Penny whisper back to Rowan but Jason heard.

“Hey” Jason draw her back while peninah wrapped her hands around his waist tightly.

“It feels so good to be a girlfriend…I love it”She grins.

“Hey let go” Jason grits while she only tightens her hands around his waist more. Mag scoffs inwardly and went back to her seat bringing out the scaff. She wore it around her neck and sighs.

“The two of you really look good together…seems I really have no chance” Rowan joked while Jason leaves peninah whom he had been trying to get off him.

“It's no_”

“It's time get ready!” They heard a voice interrupting Jason in his speech.

“I've got to go…why don't you stay and watch the shoot. I promise you'll like it” Rowan pats Jason before leaving them.

Jason cleans off his shoulder before walking to Mag who ignored him and stood up.

“Mag…” Jason held her hand back but she whipped it away.

“I've have to start shooting…excuse me” she says leaving. Before going out she gave peninah one last hard glare before leaving finally.

MINUTES LATER.

“Wow…” Peninah wouldn't stop gushing as she looks at Mag whose picture is being photograph right now.

“Wow…she's really a goddess…so beautiful” She mouthed.

Jason also stood with folded arms watching her. A smile spread on his lips and his eyes was glued to Mag.

Rowan came in with one of his workers. He stood by the director watching as the shoot is being taken.

“The next person should get ready it's almost her turn.” The director announced.

“Where's Celia?” Rowan asked Mag's manager who only fidget.

“Where is she?” He quizzed again this time getting pissed off.

“She's not here yet sir” The manager replied nervously.

“What?”

“President…there's trouble” Drake the team manager came to meet Rowan

“What is it? ”

“It's Celia…she's in the hospital”

“What?”

“I heard she had a collision on her way here”

“What?! Then what are we supposed to do? The shoot can't be cancelled” Rowan said in frustration.

“Is it bad? Can she still make it here,?” He asked.

“She's unconscious as we speak sir”

“This is nonsense!” He punched the air angrily.

“Excuse me…the next person should be getting ready for the shoot” one of the crew members said to Rowan.

“Any replacement available?” Rowan asked.

“I'll have to go check sir.”

“This is crazy”

“Um…excuse me?” Jason said joining them.

“I'm sorry to bother you but just wanted you to know we're taking our leave now” Jason said to Rowan who only nodded.

“Her shoot is not that essential so just find someone to do it. I don't care who but it's must be filmed today” Rowan ordered.

“Yes sir” The team leader bowed silently before leaving.

Rowan ruffles his hair in frustration before his eyes caught peninah waving and grinning at him.

“Wait! I think I've found one” He smiles to himself.

“I think you're making a mistake here but…she isn't the king of person to do what you're asking of her” Jason said.

“I can see right through her that she'll do a perfect job. Miss peninah I just need you to take a few shots. I assure it's nothing serious”

“But_”

“Young man…handsome man is a nice person can't we just help him out?” Peninsah tugged on Jason's hand who just sighs in defeat.

AFTER A WHILE.

Peninah came out of the dressing room holding a banquet of flowers.

She was dressed in short white gown and a flower crown was on her head. Her hair was straightened and it fall right on her shoulders. She also had a little touch of make up on and was looking extremely stunning. Both Jason and Rowan couldn't help but stare as she walks to them slowly.

“Young man!” She smiles cutely almost making him lose it.

“Hey weirdo what happened to you…?” Jason asked while she only scrunch her face.

“I don't like this thing on my legs. It's a hassle” She complain about taking off the heels but was stopped in time by Rowan.

“You look beautiful…Peninah…so don't..take them off. You're really beautiful” he complimented patting her hair while peninah smiles. Jason got hold of his hand stopping him and Rowan raised a question eyes to him.

“Can we do what she's ought to do now? We've got to leave you see” Jason said still holding his wrist.

Rowan smiles removing his hand.

“Of course Mr Jason”

“Left! Yeah that's it! Like that! Cool! Bravo! I love that!! One more time one more time! Fabulosa! Two more…yeah! Good!” The photographer wouldn't stop moving around taking shots of Mag and peninah.

“She's good…” Rowan smiles with his arms folded while Jason only rolled his eyes.

“Just when are they ending this?” Jason quizzed while Rowan only smiles.

“Okay good! Cut! Wow…you guys did absolute great! Especially you miss its seems you're born for the camera. I'd love to work with you again” the director smiles warmly at peninah who only stares at him. Mag's manager took her away while peninah calls on Jason waving at him. Jason walks to her while peninah ran to him also.

“Young man…I'm tired that man keep asking me to do things.” She complains massaging her legs.

“You..didn't look a bit nervous at all”

“Is there a reason for me to be nervous? Tell me young man and I promise to be nervous” She replied rather care freely while Jason just smiles mussing up her hair.

“Miss peninah…wow you just made my day today. You did splendidly awesome” Rowan joined them giving her thumbs up.

“Handsome man are you out of trouble now?” She asked.

“Huh…thanks to you” Rowan smiles while she returned to smile. Jason clears his throat.

“We'll get going now…you should go change”

“Uh! Must I take this off? I really like it” Penny pouted looking at the dress.

“Hey…go take it off now” Jason glared at her.

“You did this huge favor for me…I should at least reward you miss peninah” Rowan suddenly said.

“Really? Then can I keep this? I've never wore such a beautiful dress like this before. I feel like a goddess in it”

“Oh of course you don't have to return it. It's yours. But I'll still like to pay you back…how about dinner?” Rowan suggests.

“Um…we have to go now. Sorry” Jason quickly held her hand taking her away.

“How about working with me?” Rowan said stopping them. Both looks back to him.

“I noticed earlier that you're actually good with this. You wouldn't have a problem becoming a model miss peninah” Rowan smiles while peninah looks at Jason who held unto her hand tightly.

DRESSING ROOM 2b

Penny wowed looking around the dressing while Mag just sat watching her.

The manager came in and drop two cups of coffee on the table before excusing them.

“Have a sit” Mag said rather calmly and Penny Sat opposite it.

They stare at each other not uttering a word for a moment before Mag broke the silence with a laugh. Penny creased her brows at her.

“Oh…sorry for that…I just…” She laughs again making Penny wonder what's wrong.

“You just look funny in that dress” Mag finally said and Penny take a look at herself.

“This? Handsome man gave me this. Isn't it pretty?” She beamed while Mag smiles.

“Of course it is dear…he should at least give you this for using you don't you think?”

“Pardon?” Penny raised a brow while Mag rested her back on the chair.

Penny observed her from head to toe. No doubt she's a goddess cause her beauty radiate round the room. The accessories on her didn't fail to do justice to her elegance also. Unlike her…Mag looked more beautiful and eye-catching.

“At least you look a little presentable now” Mag jeered while Penny only frowns.

“But is your job to take pictures like this?”

“It is called modelling my dear”

“Modelling? Oh that's what handsome man asked me to do earlier”

“What? Rowan asked you to join modelling?”

“Huh? Young man said he'll talk to him that's why I'm here…with you right now”

“Come to think of it…that's means I'll be doing the same thing you do” Penny grins.

“Don't get ahead of yourself…you think just anyone can go into it? You're not even qualified” Mag sneer placing her left leg on the other. Penny watch her as she did this and did also.

“Why? Why can't I?” She copied Mag who only sneer.

“You wouldn't know…I'm sure Jason knows better”

“Speaking of Jason… I wonder how's doing? He must misses me greatly” Mag smiles taking a sip of her coffee.

“You're not with him but he's doing just fine. Don't worry I'll take care of him and protect him always…you can just focus on taking pictures” Penny taunt and copied her also taking the coffee to her mouth but on sipping it she spat it out immediately.

“What's this!…it's…so….bi…bitter” She scrunched her face spitting it out.

Mag sneers looking at her.

“What do we do with you?” She shakes her head pitifully while Penny drop the coffee cup on the table.

“Do models usually drink the bitter water?” She quizzed while Mag nodded.

“Then I don't wanna be a model” She said while Mag stiffs a laugh.

“Great decision though I doubt it'll be possible anyway”

“I'm just gonna stay glued to young man…that'll be more fun”

“Until when are you going to mooch off him?”

“Mooch? What's that?”

“When are you leaving?”

“I'm waiting for young man”

“I mean when will you leave him?”

“That…I don't know…but not anytime soon”

“So you're planning on being a leech forever”

“I'm ain't a leech”

“Then what are you? Uh?”

“I'm Peninah”

“Sure miss Peninah you do know you're not fit to be with him right? You're not in the right level”

“What's is the right level?”

“Do you have to ask? Me I'm the right level dear” Mag smirk.

“Based on what?”

“I grew up with him and know him better. I'm successful and normal also” Mag replied arrogantly.

“Our statuses matched also” she added.

“What's your status?”

“I'm a celebrity. A top singer”

“I'm a princess” Penny said back making Mag chuckles.

“Celebrities are crazily pretty…and I'm a proof of that. I'm sure you know too”

“Princesses are awesomely beautiful…like me”

“I've got a lot of fans who adore and loves me…they literally go crazy for me”

“I've got a lot of mer_ no I've got a lot of suitors coming for me…handsome ones”

Mag huffs.

Penny huffs also.

“I met Jason before you”

“I'm living with him right now”

“Jason only loves me” Mag said proudly.

Penny kept quiet and Mag took this as a victory. She snickers taking her coffee.

“I'm Jason's girlfriend” Penny suddenly announced almost making Mag choked on her drink.

“Hello dear…you mean fake? He only said that to save me earlier. We both know who his heart really lies for I'm his only girlfriend” Mag declared.

“It doesn't matter…at least now…he's just a nephew to you. I am the real deal” Penny smirks at her.

“You_”

“Hey Weirdo! Let's go” Jason suddenly barged in cutting Mag's statement short.

“Young man!” Penny's face lit up. She stands immediately.

“Are we leaving now?” She beamed.

“Huh…” He held her hand but then noticed Mag who sat glaring.

“Mag…I'll talk to you later” He said to her before taking Penny's out.

“Penny will now leave with her boyfriend…bye goddess” Penny waves at the fuming Mag as they leave the room. Mag clench the cup in her hand fuming.

“Margaret…we just got a_”

“GET OUT!!” Mag threw the cup angrily at her manager who suddenly came in.

“Margaret?” The manager called shocked and Mag turns to him with red eyes.

“Oh…I…i understand…I'll cancel it…I will” The manager said going out of the room.

“Penny…I'm going to screw you” Mag seethe sitting back on the chair.

The ride was awfully quiet and Penny won't stop glancing at Jason who wouldn't say anything to her.

“Young…”

“I told him you aren't interested in modelling or whatsoever. Who is he to think he can just make decision like that? I really don't like him”

“You don't like handsome man? Why?”

“Why call him that when he has a name? Rowan! Call him that”

“But why did you told him I'm ain't interested in it?”

“You…you don't even know anything about yourself! And you ain't normal either! How can I just let him do whatever he wants with you.”

“Ohhh….so you were worried about me?”

“Who said I was?”

“But don't be angry at handsome man…he's a cool human man…he even gave me this beautiful dress” she smiles while Jason looks at her.

“That's only because you helped him out…and I could have just bought that for you. A prettier one at that” He mutters putting his eyes forward back to the road.

“Young man?”

“Uh?” He answers without looking at her.

“Am i beautiful?” She asked abruptly and Jason couldn't help looking at her now.

“What?”

“Am I…attractive young man?” She quizzed again staring directly at him.

Jason also stares at her not finding a response to her question.

“I want to know…if I look attractive to you…young man” She added not taking her eyes off him.

They both stares at each other like that not withdrawing then jason starts to notice a dim blue color from her eyeballs.

He got carried away staring at it that he didn't realize Penny was already calling onto him.

“YOUNG MAN WATCH OUT!!” She yelled and instantly he snapped back to his senses. By the time he would have returned his eyes back to the road the car was already trailing away from the main road.

“Ohhh!!” He tries to control it but the wheel seems stiff all of a sudden.

“What's wrong with this!! Why isn't it moving?!!”

He tried stepping on the brake also but strangely it won't work.

“Young man I'm scared!” Penny yelled while Jason looks at her. Penny brought her hands to her head holding onto it tightly with her eyes closed. Jason took his eyes back to the road trying to make the car steady.

A masked guy stand a little further from the road with his hands forward as if he's controlling something with it.

He keeps pushing pressure into it his eyes focused on Jason's car which is now going for a pole.

But a sudden force pushes him away and he was slammed against a tree.

“ARGHHH!!” Peninah screamed while Jason leaves the wheel and shield her. The tyres screeched as it went off to hit the pole while the two passed out almost immediately.
