Alex opens his eyes, and sees Naomi sitting beside him.

“Sir Alex”. She muttered.

Alex sits up in the bed, and throws a glance at her, Naomi quickly look somewhere, and when his eyes didn’t leave her face, she spoke up.

“I’m sorry sir Alex, I didn’t know you were going to faint, I was just joking around, if you had claim you fear cats, I won’t have done that, am sorry”. She said blinking her eyes.

Alex looks at her, she was just too cute to get mad at.

“Is fine”. He muttered.

“May I know why you fear cats, cats are really good pets to keep”.

“I have a bad memory about cats”. He said.

“Really, what kind of bad memories”.

“My Mom”.

“Your Mom”. She asked.

Alex looks at her and nods.

“She died because of it, we were both coming back home on a raining night, all of a sudden a cat jumped on the windshield of her car, she lost control of it, and got involved in an accident, she died, leaving I and my dad’s world to be void, and that’s how I became scared of cats, it always reminds me about that Painful day”.

“Am sorry about that sir Alex, I didn’t know, am sorry”. Naomi apologize.

Alex smiles at her.

“Then does that mean your dad got remarried, I may not know much about the Melendezs, but I heard he still have a wife, is she your step mom”.

“No she’s not, I was adopted”.

“You were adopted”.

And Alex nods.

“My dad died a year after my mom passed away, I was only eight then, having nowhere to go, I roam in the street, and at the same time running from social services, I got knocked down by Julio Melendez one-day, and he liked me at first glance, he adopted me and took me home, and his wife accepted me wholeheartedly, living with them made me feel am still with my real parents, Kingston is the only one making life a little difficult for me to breathe in, but I can handle his time to time naggings”.

Naomi looks at him and sighs.

“I feel so bad for you sir Alex, here I thought you were born with a silver spoon, not knowing you saw a little hell before becoming who you’re today, I’ll go mad if one-day I wake up and my parents are gone”. Naomi said feeling sorry for him.

“Am already used not having them around, just that the only memories I have of my dad is gone”.

“I don’t get you sir Alex”.

“The ceramic mug you broke, that was the first and last thing my dad gave to me before he die”.

And Naomi eyes were wide opened.

“The ceramic mug was a gift from your late Dad”.

“Yes, and that’s why I got mad at you and said words I didn’t mean, am sorry Naomi”.

“I should be the one apologizing to you sir Alex, I didn’t know the importance of the mug and I got mad at you, I destroyed the only memories you had with your dad, and yet I hated you for it, am so sorry sir Alex”. She said already crying.

Alex smiles and cleans her tears.

“You like crying alot don’t you Naomi”.

“I can’t help it, am sorry”. She muttered.

“Is fine Naomi, I guess sometimes you’ve to loose something to gain another, just like the ceramic mug you gave to me”.

“I thought you threw it away”. She said sniffing back her tears.

“No I didn’t, it’s reminds me about the crazy girl I always bumped into”.

Naomi burst out laughing, when she remembered everything she had done to Alex.

“Am sorry about that sir Alex”. She said laughing.

And Alex admires her as she laugh.

“Can we be friends”. He asked.

“I thought we were friends already”. Naomi said and Alex smiles.

“So does that mean you won’t welcome me to your doom anymore”.

“I wasn’t planning on doing that to you, you were the one who brought up the idea of doing anything I want”. Alex said.

“But you made me uproot grasses with my barehands”. She pouted.

“I was just getting back at you for calling me an abductor”. Alex said.

And Naomi laughs remembering that day.

THE MELENDEZS MANSION***

Kingston enters the house, and sees his Dad sitted in the couch, he tries walking pass him, but Julio quickly said.

“So your just going walk pass, like I don’t exist”.

“What’s the point, I don’t also exist in your eyes right, Alex is the only one you see”.

“Have you spoken to Vivi, Lawrence called and he said you’ve been refusing to pick her calls”.

“My relationship with Vivi is not of your business”.

“I know, but you don’t love her anymore, then let her know about it instead of you shattering her heart every damn minute, do you know she almost Killed herself”.

And Kingston’s looked surprised.

“I guess your surprised, I dunno what transpired between you too, but just get it resolved, Lawrence is not only a CCO of McKesson cooperation, but a good friend of mine, and I don’t want to see his daughter heartbroken just because of my son, do the right thing Kingston and stop being stupid”. Julio said and Leaves.

“Is she crazy, why’ll she want to kill herself”. Kingston muttered.

The following day, Kingston went to Vivi’s house, he opens the door and sees Vivi covering herself inside a huge duvet.

“I already told you stupid maid that I don’t want to eat, get lost!”. She half yells under the duvet.

“Vivi is me”. Kingston muttered.

And Vivi unlocked herself from inside the duvet.

“Kings”. She muttered and hugs him so tight.

Kingston broke the hug and looks at her.

“Why did you attempt to commit suicide”.

“I thought you don’t love me anymore”

“You know that’s not true Vivi, I was just mad at you, but not anymore”.

Vivi smiles.

“I love you so much Kings”.

“I love you Vivi”.

Vivi smiles and claims his lips like a hungry Lion ready to devour it’s prey.

Kinston hoisted her up, and Vivi caged her legs around his waist.

They didn’t wasted time before entering the world of Algebra.

FEW DAYS LATER***

Brielle got discharge from the hospital and luckily for her, her broken leg healed up fast, and she was able to walk again.

She came out from her room, and Susan quickly approach her holding her by the hand.

“Are you sure you can go to school today”. She asked caressing her hair.

“Yes I can mom, am okay now, and I don’t want to keep stressing Jason, his been helping out with my school work”.

“Alright then, come and have breakfast, I prepared your favorite breakfast”.

“Really mom”. Brielle asked smiling.

“Yes I did”. Susan said and helped Brielle sits in the dinning chair.

Brielle tries to eat it, but Susan insisted on feeding her.

“Mom, am not a kid, I can eat on my own”.

“Your my baby Brielle so I want to feed you ah”. She said altering her to open her mouth.

Brielle smiles and opens her mouth.

“How does it taste”.

“As always, your the best chef in the whole of Texas”. Brielle said giving her a high thumbs up smiling.

“Then keep eating still your Tommy gets bursted”. Susan said feeding her.

And to think of it, she has never for once treat Brielle in a caring way, and she’s trying to make up for her short comings.

RK NOBLE HOTEL***

Loud screams filled the huge kitchen, as every caterer was so happy to have Naomi back.

“Did you all miss me that much”. She asked laughing.

While Alex admires her from the glass Wall.

“Yes we did, we missed you”. They all said and Naomi laughs.

“Welcome back Naomi”. Finn said and Hugs her.

Alex Immediately frown the moment Finn hugged Naomi.

“Why’s he hugging her”. He muttered.

And a square shape form in his forehead when Naomi hugs him back smiling.

“Why’s she hugging him back”. He asked no one.

“Alright that’s enough, enough hugging”. Bre said separating them.

Naomi giggles adjusting her glasses, and Alex smiles.

“What’re you doing there”. Calvin asked.

And Alex quickly looked at him.

“Ca…Calvin”.

“I came to see you, but you weren’t in your office, what’re you doing here, is unlike you to come to the kitchen area, are you looking at something”. Calvin said trying to take a peep, but Alex stops him.

“You came to see me right, let’s go to my office”.

“But I just want to see what you’ve been staring and smiling at”. Calvin pouted.

“Let’s just go Calvin, I wasn’t looking at anything”. Alex said pushing him slightly to go with him, but Calvin turned a deaf ear.

Naomi came out from the kitchen and sees the both of them.

“Sir Alex”.

“Naomi”.

Calvin looks at Naomi.

“Is she the four eyes girl”.

“Just shut up Calvin”. Alex said.

“Your crazy four eyes right, I can tell from your glasses”.

Naomi looks at Alex and he quickly looked somewhere else.

“Yes I’m, but my name is Na….”.

Naomi’s word hanged in her mouth because Calvin hugged her.

“I’ve always wanted to meet you, thanks to you I got to laugh my best friend, he deserves more, keep doing that to him”. Calvin said still hugging her.

And Alex seperates them.

“Are you really my best friend”. Alex asked.

Calvin giggles.

“Of course I’m Alex, four e…..”.

“Is Naomi”. Alex corrected him, throwing a deadly glance at him, but it was Asif Calvin didn’t care if Alex kills him with his eyes.

“Naomi”. Calvin said taking her hand, and Alex’s eyebrows dingles.

“Let’s go out, am going to treat you out on a very nice meal, for making me laugh anytime Alex talks about you”.

“Well….”

“I don’t take no for an answer”. Calvin said leaving with Naomi.

“Calvin where’re you going”. Alex asked.

“Taking my girlfriend out”. He replies, leaving with Naomi who couldn’t form a word out of her mouth.

“Stop right there Calvin”.

“Let’s run”. He whispers to Naomi, and runs with her.

“Calvin!!!”. Alex yells going after him.

Finn sighs after watching the senerio.

“I thought she said she wasn’t in good terms with sir Alex, so what’s all this about, sir Alex’s friend knows her too”. Finn said looking sad.

“What’re you blabbing to yourself”. Bre asked.

“Nothing”. He muttered walking away.

NOVA HIGHSCHOOL***

Brielle kept smiling when she remembered the lovely breakfast she had with her mom, this was the first time she ate happily with her mom, and it’s felt so good.

“Brielle”. Jason called.

“Oh Jason”.

“Your Finally back in school”.

And Brielle nods smiling.

“Can I’ve my backpack now”. She said.

Jason smiles and gives it to her.

“Where’s Mia”.

“You should know that parrot is the queen of late comings, I guess her running mouth won’t let her prepare for school on time”.

And Brielle chuckles.

“There’s was a project we did yesterday about mixture of chemicals, and it’s aids 50 marks”.

“Then I guess I failed in that aspect”. Brielle muttered sadly.

“And you’d think I was going to let you fail, I helped you with yours”. Jason said.

“Thanks alot Jason, I own you one”. She said.

“It nothing Elle, you know am ready to do anything for you right”. He said smiling.

And Brielle looks at him, and all of a sudden he became different from the Jason she used to know.

Her world turned into a slow mo, and the only person she could see was Jason with lots of love and Stars circling around him.

And she feels her heart beating rapidly.

*Has he always been this handsome*. Brielle muttered to herself admiring Jason.

And she could see fireworks circulating around them, her heart keeps pouncing loudly.

And as if she lost control of herself, she went closer to Jason, making him wonder why.

“Have you always been this handsome”. She asked smiling.

“Huh”. Jason asked arching his eyebrows.

Brielle looks at him, and all she could see was a different person far from the Jason she grew up with.

She held his collar and pulls him closer with it, slowly and steadily, she pressed her lips on Jason’s lips, shocking the living daylight out of him.
